2024 RunNB Award Winners

MEMRAMCOOK (RunNB) – Jérémie Pellerin and Sacha Hourihan were named RunNB's runners of the year. ‎

Pellerin, of Dieppe, and Hourihan, of Sussex Corner, were named 2024 male and female runners of the year respectively.

"RunNB is proud to see a 13 percent increase in the number of runners who participated in a RunNB event this year", said RunNB Chairman Donald Wade.

RunNB, the provincial organization that promotes running in New Brunswick, presented the awards at the 2024 RunNB Annual General meeting, Awards and Hall of Fame luncheon in Memramcook.

Phil Booker, of Fredericton, was inducted posthumously into the RunNB Hall of Fame.

The RunNB 2024 award winners are:

  • Female Runner of the Year:  Sacha Hourihan(Sussex Corner)
  • Male Runner of the Year: Jérémie Pellerin(Dieppe)
  • Up and Coming Female Runner of the Year: Meghan Duffy (Miramichi)
  • Up and Coming Male Runner of the Year: Remi-Pierre Roussel (Tracadie)
  • Sylvio Bourque Memorial Award (Inspirational Person of the Year):  Jean-Marc Doiron (Moncton)
  • Personal Achievement Award: Lloyd Sutherland (Fredericton)
  • Event of the Year: Fall Classic (Fredericton)

    RunNB Outstanding Contributors:
  • Colin McQuade (Riverview)
  • Dean Strowbridge (Saint John)
